Closed Beta Test of Spokane Airsoft website

As you all probably know, we - Jeremy and I - have signed an agreement with Wade Moss and Rich Wohrle to purchase a portion of Spokane Airsoft owned by Wade Moss. We met with him Saturday during the skirmish at the Nitehawk Paintball Field and reached a great agreement that will provide opportunities for Spokane Airsoft to continue growing in the coming weeks and months.

Part of that growth is our decision to build, from the ground up, a completely new Spokane Airsoft website. This site will be a dramatic departure from our current site. While the current site focuses on the forum as the central repository for discussion and business the new site breaks everything out into niches such as:

Robust content management system for posting stories and such

 Sale of SA
Posted: Norseman @ Mon Dec 07, 2009 2:36 pm
Hello Spokane Airsoft community members,

I just wanted to let you know that last weekend, I sold my half of Spokane Airsoft to Rob Kauder and Jeremy Miller. Both of them will be teaming up with Rich Wohrle to continue providing top quality airsoft operations, improving the website and continuing to grow airsoft in our region.

Let's give them a big round of applause!

Don't worry I'll still be around from time to time and of course the ranch is still available for our Ivan Hammer series of operations.

Rob and Jeremy have really stepped up to the plate this past year and helped out with the day to day operations of the forum, website and our events. They are very excited to take SA to new levels and I have had them in mind for s...

 CQB in Spokane
Posted: KBAR @ Wed Nov 18, 2009 8:54 am
Recently Timmychang and Todd Frey met with the owners of the Spokane Paintball Club to talk about the feasibility of allowing us to use their facilities to host airsoft skirmishes.

Tuesday night I went with Timmy and together we met with two of SPC's owners, Randall Robertson and Shawn McNary, to talk about their club hosting Spokane Airsoft CQB skirmishes and here's what we found out.

Randall Robertson is the owner of a 13,000 square foot warehouse located about a mile north of the Altamont exit off I-90 that he has converted into an indoor arena. About half of the facility is an open speedball-type field while the rest of the field can best be described as a two-story killhouse with ramps, stairways, hidden passages, dead-end alleys, rooms, you name it. Shawn took us on a tour of the field and I have to say it's impressive.

Don't take my word for it though ... we ran into Dale Burbridge while we were there and the guys from DooM Squad play there regularly so if you want to ...
